Thank you to everyone who took part in our early engagement last year on Shaftesbury Capital’s vision to enhance Carnaby Street’s public realm. The feedback received from residents, businesses, stakeholders and visitors has helped inform the next stage of design development.
We are now sharing a set of emerging concept designs that explore how Carnaby Street and its surrounding streets could be made greener, easier to enjoy and better connected while remaining true to the area’s distinctive character.

Within our portfolio we have over 261 offices, located within a wide range of buildings – from townhouses which are sensitively refurbished and that retain many original features, to modern large floorplates with lift access and concierge services. There are also 185 residential units across our Carnaby Street and Soho estate.
Shaftesbury Capital also has a proven track record within the Carnaby Street and Soho area of delivering high-quality retail space, and well-managed food and beverage outlets, which have helped to contribute to Soho and Carnaby Street’s unique character.
Following our early engagement on our vision for the future of Carnaby Street’s public realm last year, we have developed a set of emerging concept designs informed by the feedback received. We are now inviting further feedback through a community check-in to understand how well this emerging approach responds to the priorities raised previously.
